BioHi, my name is Alison, but most of my friends call me Ali, I live and work in Brighton and I am part of the New Frontiers church here in Brighton called Church of Christ the King. I've been going there for just over a year now and it has been one of the best years of my life.
Earlier this year I got involved in "Kidz Klub" where about 200 to 250 kids at bussed in from around the city on a Saturday morning and then a large team of us act like we are mad! The best part is 20 minutes from the end when we give them practical bible teaching. In the past 18 months, almost 500 kids have prayed a prayer of salvation, because they decided to ask Jesus into their hearts.
I work for a small government department as an administrator, and spend most of my spare time working with Kidz Klub.
I've only been a Christian for a little over 3 years now. I gave my life to Jesus in June of 2000 after a very dark time in my life where amongst many other things, I went through a divorce.
My life has changed completely now and God is moving me forward in my walk of faith.... I look forward to making great new friends.
